Well Man Scan

Well man scan package is a thorough ultrasound examination, which uses high frequency sound waves to provide insights into the organs of the following areas:

Upper Abdomen:

• Liver
• Gallbladder
• Spleen

Lower Abdomen:

• Kidneys
• Bladder
• Prostate- trans-abdominal scan

As an additional option, you can choose to add a Testicles Scan at the same time for a further charge of £100,00. Please select the following LINK.

An upper abdominal scan will assess the anatomy and structure of the liver, pancreas, spleen, and gallbladder, looking for possible cysts, masses, stones, etc.

Lower abdominal scan – kidneys and bladder scan will assess the size and shape of these organs as well as the presence of a cyst, masses, calculi, or dilatation/ obstruction.

The prostate scan is done trans-abdominally, so please ensure you arrive for the appointment with a full bladder.

We will provide you with an instant ultrasound medical report and images of any abnormality found after the scan.

For the upper abdominal scan you will need to fast for 6 hours prior to a scan and for prostate, kidneys and bladder it is important to have up to 4 cups of water one hour before your appointment to ensure you arrive with a full bladder.
